Dawson Hunt, Lead Pastor

Growing up in Southern New Mexico, Dawson has a genuine care for others and is fueled by seeing people grow closer to the Lord. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. Upon graduation, Dawson worked in the business field for 5 years. In 2016, Dawson and his family moved to St. Louis to attend Covenant Theological Seminary to pursue his Master of Divinity. Dawson is married to Allison and they have three daughters, Emmalyn, Haven, and Audra. On an off day, you can find Dawson on a run, eating something with green chile in it, or spending time with his precious family. Dawson is a Teaching Elder in the PCA.

Sonia Ayala, Admin Assistant

Sonia is a proud El Paso native with a heart for service. Passionate about her faith, she finds joy in serving the Lord—especially through volunteering with the youth. Her mission is to inspire, guide, and uplift the next generation, fostering a strong foundation in faith and community. On her free time she loves spending time with her family and friends, cherishing every moment and creating lasting memories.

Araceli Cisneros, Children’s Coordinator

Araceli is a native of El Paso. She has always enjoyed meeting new people and especially delights in church fellowship.  Recently, she has taken an authentic interest in Biblical Counseling. She graduated from NMSU with a Bachelor's in Bilingual Education and soon after earned her Master's degree from Walden University. She has served in education ranging from Early Childhood to Adult Basic Education. She is blessed with 4 wonderful children and currently homeschools her youngest son, Elijah. She especially enjoys spending time with family, reading, hiking, and traveling!

Marcos Zapata, Associate Pastor

Originally from Mexico, Marcos was raised in the Presbyterian church and now serves as Associate Pastor at Christ the King Presbyterian Church, where he is a Teaching Elder in the PCA and provides pastoral leadership across several ministries. Marcos serves the English-speaking congregation through preaching, worship leadership, and pastoral care, while also shepherding the church’s Spanish-speaking ministry. He also serves on the board of San Pablo Reformed Theological Seminary as a professor. He is married to his wife, Erika, and together they are thankful for the joy of raising their daughter, Ariana. In his free time, Marcos enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Betty Fernandez, Church Media Specialist

Betty Fernandez grew up in El Paso, TX, and Ciudad Juárez. She is a graphic designer with experience in website and social media management. She has served in ministries for four years, focusing on supporting moms and ensuring they have the resources they need.

Betty is married to her wonderful husband, Fernando, and they have a son, Pablo. Their family enjoys spending weekends at their ranch, caring for it as her grandfather once did. It is their sanctuary, a place of peace and connection.

Her goal is to be a bridge for people to know God, using visuals to inspire, uplift, and spread hope through her work.
